The April tally is finally in. During the month of April, Adopt-A-Block volunteers picked up 113 bags of trash and recyclables off Greenfield streets and steps -- 73 Giant Eagle equivalent white bags of trash and 36 GE Blue Bags of recyclables. And we had a participation rate of 81%. Add to this the trash picked up at the April 21st SWAT deployments and the April 28th Run/Magee Field pickup and you have a lot of trash removed from the neighborhood.
