Litter has been getting some mention in the local letters to the editor page as of late:
Dennis M. Pasparage of Swissvale says lack of respect has turned our society into litter louts and asks "Are we really this pathetic as a people?" We hope not. (5/1/07)
Mike Coleman's "The no-parking-plan Steelers have a lot of nerve" exposes the dirtier side of the weekend visits paid by the Steelers Nation. (4/27/07)
Betty Luff of Sewickley says that "litter demoralizes" and that if Pittsburgh is "to be a first-class city, we have to clean up our act and look as proud as we feel." Good advice. (4/22/07)
