On July 17, the Pittsburgh City Council, through Councilwoman Natalia Rudiak, issued a proclamation noting and commending the anti-graffiti work being done throughout the city. Specifically noted was Carrick's Totally Against Graffiti group, which is one of the most active in the city. Also included in the resolution was the work of the Pittsburgh Police Detectives, the Public Works Graffiti Busters and the United States Postal Service.
