Bag snagging? What's that?

A budding hobby has been brought to our attention. "Bag snagging" is the act of removing plastic bags that have become entangled in the branches of a helpless tree. Aided by a long stick or a specially-designed Bag Snagger tool, volunteers cut down tattered bags and do their part to eliminate out-of-reach litter.

The New York Restoration Project's website has more information about their bag snagging program.
