Citizens Against Litter

Wanted: Schools to help "Stash the Trash" this spring!

Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes Stash the Trash, a one day school yard litter pickup in the City of Pittsburgh. All schools, public, private and parochial, are encouraged to sign up and participate to help make their communities a little cleaner!

This year marks the nineteenth year of Stash the Trash. PRC and the Clean Pittsburgh Commission will once again provide gloves and trash/recycling bags to all participating schools. In addition, each school will be invited to the Stash the Trash recognition party, which in the past has included a trip to PNC Park to watch a Pirates baseball game and a visit to the Mayor's office.

If you know of a classroom or school that would like to be a part of this great community event, please complete and return the registration form to Sarah Alessio Shea by Monday, March 31.

For more information please contact Sarah at 412-488-7490 ext. 236 or saraha@ccicenter.org.
