Citizens Against Litter

I want to help fight litter!

Take a stand. There are no meetings or membership dues. All we ask is that you take some time to pick up litter, be it around your house, your block, or your neighborhood.

We may send you a message from time to time, informing you of clean up efforts in your neighborhood. We will not give your email address to anyone else.

The Newslitter is our monthly email detailing our efforts, and the efforts of others, to keep Pittsburgh clean.

We use your address and neighborhood to create a map of anti-litter volunteers. No identifying information is revealed. (Optional)

Anti-Spam Verification

We hate litter of all kinds, including the kind that fills up our sign-up form. Enter the words shown above to verify that you are not a spam-producing machine.

What do we believe?

People who care about clean neighborhoods must pick up for people who litter and don't care. Picking up litter must be done regularly. Once or twice a year doesn't cut it.

What we need.

We do not need money. We need more volunteers to give us coverage throughout the city.

Pittsburgh has 89 neighborhoods and plenty of litter. But what it really needs are more people who want to help keep it clean.

How can you help? Join us.

It's very simple. Complete the form on this page, contact Boris Weinstein at 412-688-9120, or email us.

There are no fees to pay or meetings to attend. Just step out your front door and start picking up litter. It's the easiest thing you'll do all day.
